This workshop will start and end at the Ticket Office next to the village green but will sited in various locations (on the move) around the village during the day. Participants can opt to book just this day long workshop, day 2 or both. Tim has had many years experience working this way and is generous in sharing his skills and knowledge with students of all abilities who attend. This second day is for those who wish to get a better grasp of the watercolour process though loose and lively sketching. The optional day 2 will build upon the learning points of the previous day, looking at recording the scene in ink and wash, using either watercolour or coloured pencil to complete the scene. Tim will also be running an additional workshop the following day introducing colour. As an author, he has completed three art books for the publisher Search Press. Tim writes regularly for the Leisure Painter and has recently become one of the Editorial Consultants for the magazine. Since the launch of his career Tim has been a finalist in the Daily Mail вЂњNot the Turner PrizeвЂќ competition and has won numerous other art awards.

This day long course is ideal for those who wish to improve their drawing skills through new ways of working and thinking about the sketching process. The emphasis is to travel light, with the minimal number of materials needed to capture the subject rapidly and effectively.
